Kati Basti involves medicated oil used in a traditional and unique way to assist in healing spinal conditions and soreness of the upper and lower back. Greeva Basti refers to this same treatment over the cervial (neck) region of the spine.

This is an incredibly soothing and effective treatment, in which warm oil containing specific herbs to relieve aches and pains is applied to the painful area along the spine. The warm-hot oil sits in a doughnut shaped ‘dam’ made from dough, that moulds perfectly to the shape of your back or neck area to retain the herbal oil. This targeted pooling of warm medicated oil delivers deep lubrication, blood flow and nourishment to the vertebrae and dry tissues helping to restore the natural range of motion. 

A series of treatments is recommended for a healing impact.
